Orange Dish Variety
I think I'll make the orange dish again,
Although I think I've made it twice this week.
And you deserve variety but then'
It's wholesome, and with just a bit of pain,
It will suffice; the flavor we can tweak.
I think I'll make the orange dish again.
The entree will make you forget how plain,
The little dish of orange, and we'll speak,
Of how you deserve variety, but then,
Consistence is a feature we commend,
The sameness of the side dish, we won't speak;
I think I'll make the orange dish again.
With oatmeal and shirred eggs, I do maintain,
Bananas, oranges, a kiwi break,
For you deserve variety, but then,
You'll find that you have not spoiled me in vain,
Bringing coffee with nice cream, and cake.
See, you deserve variety, but then,
I'll smile while I serve the orange dish again.
