It's a dilemma
It's a dilemma, conundrum, it seems,
To wait while getting things done.
Put away expectations and labeling dreams,
Ready for each new day's sun.
How like a child, not ready to bear
All the weight the new day may hold,
Proactively moving, but ready to share;
If it comes, glimpse the moment of gold.
So, trusting that guidance will come through the day,
I step out as the new day's sun rises,
Doing, but ready for what comes my way,
So I will not spoil the surprises.
