Discovery and Motivation
Discovery, to the eager mind,
Eyes that observe, spot opportunity,
And brightness in the salient details find,
In what exists, see opportunity.

How marvelous to see and to bring forth,
The useful, the aesthetic and sublime,
The motivation to bring honor, express worth
In love for Father, dear, supreme, divine.

The spark--no fire--that brightly lights,
To relate to such a thing, how lame.
And still, to request fire, however bright
exceeds comparing to another's flame.

A prayer of realistic magnitude
Can be responded to by a Holy will.
To aid and to support that which is good,
And He who knows can hold and lift and fill.
