Juggling the Day
I want to get that done by then,
do this a little longer first.
I find I'm in a spot again,
what I aim to do the best, do worst.
The vision for results is fine;
the action that it takes falls short.
Too many ends in the day's twine,
all tangled, too far gone to sort.
Today is now another day,
a day to keep my act in line,
things one by one, an ordered way.
limit commitments, tasks decline.
First things first, the order be,
but being flexible is chief.
Aiming for serenity,
and not let chaos be the thief.
